FHA Approved

Great news - as of September 10th, I am now an approved FHA appraiser. With the financial markets tightening up their loan criteria this will be another option to allow people to purchase or refinance their home. FHA does require some additional steps when completing an appraisal so there is an additional cost for these appraisals. I have had several requests to do FHA appraisals in the past so I am looking forward to working with both my existing and new customers to fulfill this need.

5280 Appraisal, LLC Officialy open for business

HI Everyone -

Wow, I can't believe this day has finally arrived. The first day of my new company. It is very exciting especially since I already have an order - YEA!!!

Now I have been busy with everyone trying to get everything ready including bank accounts, MLS, E&O insurance and why is nothing ever easy. Oh well today I submitted my application so I can do FHA appraisals, I am waiting to hear about taking credit card payments and hopefully in a few hours I will finally own a HUD key. Whew!!!

Tomorrow I am taking a class about appraisal fraud. With everything being written about appraisers, it should be interesting to hear what some people in my industry are doing. It is only a 1/2 day class so I will be around in the afternoon.
